UKRAINE UPDATE (APRIL 9, 2022)
First steps, first stopover, first lunch prepared by our Natasha for the children of refugee families from Ukraine at the first hour after crossing the border into Moldova.
Blankets from the Mennonite community from Michigan were delivered by LSM for Ukrainian refugees hosted by organizations with which we are partnering to address the crisis at the border in Northern Moldova.
LSM provided humanitarian relief including a washing machine and refrigerator to a Christian center currently receiving and hosting Ukrainian refugees. We partnered with this local center led by Mihai Sinogaci to provide for the basic needs of families crossing the border into Moldova from Ukraine.
LSM provided coal and wood for heating in refugee centers such as the church in Calaurseuca.

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Little Samaritan Mission: For the last 30 years, my attention for our LSM ministry, has been laser focused on these words of Apostle James: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”(NIV) We were blessed to initiate and maintain the largest broadcasting Christian radio network in Europe, sharing the Gospel message. Even during these most difficult days, many of our listeners in Moldova are impoverished families, orphan children, and the seniors. We realize that during the quarantine, our listening audience has increased tremendously. In Italy alone our listening audience was 5 times higher than usual.
Little Samaritan Mission is an independent and non-profit organization committed to assisting impoverished and underprivileged children and individuals in developing countries in the areas of education, medical relief, sustainable development projects and general humanitarian aid. LSM was founded on Christian principles of charity and this basis serves as the motivation and inspiration to serve the humanitarian needs of adults and children,
With high inflation and news of war at neighboring Ukraine, we bought flower in bulk and oil to distribute to poor families.
VIEW PROJECTAs winter sets in across Europe, we distributed wood, coal, blankets, food items, clothing and shoes to a needy family with 5 children in Northern Moldova.
VIEW PROJECTEugenia is 83 years old and lives alone. She has no relatives and no one with whom to share the joy of the holiday season nor the long lonely hours of winter.
VIEW PROJECTOn June 11, 1994, the Little Samaritan Mission opened the first radio station in Chisinau, Moldova broadcasting 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. More stations were added in Moldova and uplinked to satellite creating a network of 11 stations covering the entire country of Moldova and even parts of Ukraine and eastern Romania. LSM radio also streams live on the internet for worldwide listeners.
The Little Samaritan Mission radio network of 11 stations covers the entire country of Moldova, parts of Ukraine, and eastern Romania bringing hope through the Good News of Jesus Christ. Institutions such as prisons, hospitals, orphanages and even schools receive the radio signal and retransmit it through a P.A. speaker system inside their buildings.
